Why The Line Gets Clogged

Dirt and debris clogs the drain line because its carried by water draining out that can dry up and leave dirt and debris in the line. More occurrences of moisture after the line is clogged will eventually cause water to overflow and result in water build up and can even cause damage to your home.

To prevent your air conditioners drain line from being clogged have routine maintenance performed and have a safety float switch installed.

Routine Maintenance

You will also of course know if your line is clogged or not and if you should think about clearing it. A float switch will shut your unit off if its producing too much water and will stop water from overflowing from the pan and onto your ceiling. We also can install a safety float switch for your air conditioner, but that will be something you have to pay for.
